The Lotus Evora is a model British car manufacturer Lotus. The first new range for over ten years, the car is being developed under the codename Project Eagle is launched July 22, 2008 at the British International Motor Show. Heir to the line of the Lotus Esprit, it was designed by designer Russell Carr.
The Lotus Evora is known internally as the Eagle Project and only when it was launched at motor show in London it is officially called Evora. Sport Coupe 2 +2 configuration, the engine is centrally placed rear, like the Elise and other current models. The new Evora is more discreet than the Elise and Exige, but is more powerful than the latter [1].

The Lotus Evora is powered by a six-cylinder engine in V with a displacement of 3.5 liters, installed in a central rear. Designed by Toyota, it is available fitted with twin overhead camshafts with variable valve timing head Dual VVT-i, admission as exhaust. It develops 280 hp at 6 400 rpm and 342 Nm of torque at 4 700 rpm. The gearbox is six reports manually. The Evora weighing 1 350 kg, which is relatively light for a sporty four-seater, as usual at Lotus [2].
